Heavy Combination (HC) class License allows you to drive:

• Any prime mover attached to a semi-trailer or a rigid vehicle towing a trailer with a GVM of more than 9 tonnes plus any unladen converter dolly.
• Also includes other vehicles that are classed in HR.

Typically a heavy combination vehicle is one which is a prime mover, with a semi-trailer attached to it, or rigid vehicle towing a trailer with a GVM of more than 9 tonnes. A person applying for a HC license should have possessed an MR or HR license for at least one full year.

We are one of the newest HC driving schools in Perth, equipped with excellent vehicles to practice with and experienced instructors. Once you finish your training, you can immediately obtain your HC license, by applying at the Department of Transport and completing their requirements.

Upgrade to HC License Class

You must have held a Class MR or HR license for at least one year. P2 license holders cannot upgrade to this class.

HC Express One Day Course

A one day express course is available but each individual student will be assessed according to their driving skill level.
